I’m a musician – most often a folksinger, but at times a teacher, bass player, contra dance musician, arranger, sound engineer…

I live in Severna Park, Maryland (near Annapolis and Baltimore). I’m looking for other musicians to play with (either for fun or for money, or better yet, both!). I’d love to find a place to play bass. I’m not actively teaching instrument lessons now, but if you want a lesson, call me up!

I recently completed Music Together teacher training, and beginning in the fall of 2014 I will be teaching Music Together classes for Move & Groove.

I’m best known as the guitarist and lead singer of the Philadelphia-based electric folk band Broadside Electric. From time to time I’ve played in other bands – Irish, old-time, contra dance, country, blues and rock. As a folksinger, I perform solo and as a duo with my wife, Amy Ksir. We are the managers and hosts of the 333 Coffeehouse.

Here’s my YouTube channel.

I play and teach:

I also play cittern (bouzouki) for some kinds of music (mainly Irish), piano when the need arises (though not necessarily well), and harmonica just because it’s fun to play.
